Shakyamuni Buddha Large

At 17 ½ inches, this is a very impressive Buddha. It’s our largest Buddha. He is believed to have had 550 incarnations. His last embodiment was as Shakyamuni.

After 6 years of fasting and meditation under the Bodhi tree, he reached enlightenment and broke the wheel of rebirth. He is said to have the made the transition and age 80 in Kusinagara. From there he went on to higher realms, where he resides as the ruler of Shambhala.
